What is Domain

DOMIAN  name  identifies one or more ip address.for example teachnix.com represents  about a dozen IP addresses. Domain names are used in url  to identify particular web sites. For example, in the URL http://www.teachnix.com/index.html, the domain name is teachnix.com

Every domain name has a suffix that indicates which top level domain  it belongs to. There are only a limited number of such domains. For example:
